The Ages of the World
- As you look at each of the six ages in this culture, what do you see as patterns? That is, what seems to happen with each new age of inhabitants? What kinds of actions are repeated? (Hint: look for a kind of "evolution" as well as static repetition.)
- What is the significance of the sixth age? Who are they? Why do they matter?
- This myth combines a strong sense of history with its story. Do you prefer this kind of storytelling over some of the other myths we have read? Why or why not?
